Today we started the presale of day passes for the EoR. As little decision help to see which band plays when you will find the running order under "Line-up-Running Order 09".

The long waiting for the album of Dividing Line is over: In May "Vanitas" will be released at EoR. You will be able to purchase the CD for the first time at the Festival - before the official retailers will sell it.

The Elements of Rock festival at Ascension weekend 2009 presents the last booked band: The swedish Death Metal band 'Inevitable End'.
Already their first two EPs from 2004 and 2006 sounded very promising. So the EoR folks could satisfy oneself of their live abilities for the first time in 2006. Now the four Swedish are back with their just released first full-length disc 'The Severed Inception': Tough played Death Metal with interesting ingredients form different styles of hard music. Look forward to a heavy Elements of rock.

With a heavy heart Crimson Moonlight had to cancel their long awaited second gig at 'Elements of Rock'. Since three band members left the band they are neither able to give shows nor record their new CD at the moment.
But an interesting and up-coming replacement could be booked: Shadows of Paragon. The five swedish guys are dedicated to Black Metal/Extreme Metal as well. After their first EP in 2004 their first full-length CD 'Through the valley within' will be released soon. Three songs are already available as a EP-extraction for free download. These songs show that 'Shadows of Paragon' have developped mightyly and don't have to fear comparisons with giants of the scene any longer.
You can look forward to another weighty scandinavian metal act at 'Elements of Rock' at Ascension Weekend 2009!

You asked for more Black Metal – here you go! The Elements of Rock Festival could win the ambitious "Extreme Metal Band" Morgenroede from the homeland of dark Metal for a Gig at EoR 09 at the Ascension weekend.
Although Morgenroede is not very established yet, they can tip the scales by the fact that their frontman Ronny Hansen was the famous singer of the sadly disbanded cult bands Vaakevandring and Antestor.
Morgenroede started as Symphonic Black Metal band. But whoever just expects common standard sound from the vocals, two guitars, bass, synth and drums is mistaken. By using 7-cord guitars and several experiments with vocals and other arrangements, Morgenroede pushes the sound without forgetting their roots.
Look forward to a fierce, nordic Black Metal tempest!!!

Miseration is another Band in top manning at the next Elements of Rock Festival in Uster! On board of the 2005 founded combo an Bord are the established: Christian Älvestam (Ex-Scar-Symmetry, Unmoored, Torchbearer, The Few Against Many etc.), Jani Stefanovic (Divinefire, The Weakening, Ex Sins of Omission etc.) Johan Ylenstrand (Exhale, Sordid Death etc.) Rolf Pilve (Sightless etc.) Marus Berilsson (Inevitable End).
Whoever knows their first album "Your Demons - Their Angels" (Lifeforce Records), is conscious that nobody will stay dry and all hair will fly at the Ascension weekend. Fast, brutal and agressive are probably the fitting words for the modern Deathmetal of Miseration.
